Leeds eCOT Requirements and Notice Period

Outstanding Requirements before Completion
Before you submit the eCOT, you must ensure that you have satisfied all the offer conditions and provided any supporting documentation, if this has been requested. If the offer conditions are not satisfied and documentation has not been provided, the completion funds cannot be released. The most common requirement that remains outstanding upon receipt of the eCOT is the ‘Housing Association Consent to Mortgage’ on a Shared Ownership application. This is required before completion so should be sent in advance of the eCOT.

eCOT Notice Period
Please try to avoid submitting the eCOT on the day of completion. Whilst we will do everything we can to release funds, leaving it so late may result a delay in doing so, particularly if there are conditions outstanding.
