It has come to our attention that the Land Registry MD reference number on our Limited Company Mortgage Deed is incorrect. The correct reference number is MD1499D.
The Mortgage Deed has been corrected and the updated version is now available on LMS Conveyancer Zone in Lender Documents.
If you are acting, or have recently acted, for Family Building Society on a Limited Company Buy-to-Let mortgage, please take the following action:
Either:
If your client has already executed the Limited Company Mortgage Deed bearing the Land Registry MD reference MD1449D, please amend the MD reference number in manuscript to MD1499D. This action has been agreed with the Land Registry.
Or:
If your client has not yet executed the Limited Company Mortgage Deed, please ensure you download and use the updated version bearing the Land Registry reference MD1499D from the LMS Conveyancer Zone.
Or:
If your client has executed any other Mortgage Deed, please ensure that before completion your client re-executes the Mortgage Deed using the Limited Company Mortgage Deed bearing the Land Registry reference MD1499D.
Family Building Society are liaising with the Land Registry regarding applications that have already been submitted to it, and you do not need to take any action in respect of these cases.
