Leeds Building Society Certificate of Title Migration

LMS and Leeds Building Society are committed to working together to support an efficient conveyancing journey. We are pleased to announce the launch of our Electronic Certificate of Title Service for Leeds Building Society, commencing 03 August 2020.

To ensure a successful migration to this service and continued membership, key documentation must be accepted by your firm before the above date.

What is Changing?

When in a position to do so, approved panel members can submit a Certificate of Title promptly through the LMS portal.

Receiving the Certificate of Title digitally negates the need for the lender to re-key information, the interpretation of handwritten changes and reduces the risk of funds being released to the wrong account.

The service will be also be available through integration or via STARS.

What do I need to do?

If your firm is already a member of Leeds Building Society Panel through LMS, a new application for membership is not required, but we will need you to accept the Leeds Building Society Addendums and updated Panel Link Terms and Conditions at the earliest opportunity. The Panel Link Membership Manager for your firm can do this via Conveyancer Zone from 24 July 2020.

Please note that acceptance of the new documentation is essential. Leeds Building Society will be unable to accept a request for funds by any other submission method, after the 3 August 2020.
