Lender Instructions and Requirements

LMS would like to remind all firms that as part of continued panel membership, each of our lending clients requires adherence to their individual instructions and specific requirements, as set out by the lender when providing the mortgage.

Please refer to the terms and conditions of membership and any relevant sections of the UK Finance/CML/BSA Handbook.

E.G documents that may be required by lender ‘A’

o Title Information Document (TID) confirming the charge has been registered;
o Any notice of assignment;
o Any personal guarantee documentation;
o Certified copies of any Powers of Attorney;
o For shared ownership, copies of lease and consents from landlord;
o Any Indemnity Insurance Policies (as applicable);
o Any other documents specifically requested as detailed in the mortgage offer

Non-compliance is monitored and may result in the lenders decision to remove a firm from panel.
