LMS Appoints New People Performance Director, Claire Macarthur.

LMS is excited to welcome Claire Macarthur to the business as our new people performance director.

With over 15 years of experience in leadership, cultural transformation and operations in financial services settings, Claire brings deep expertise in building high-performing teams, embedding clear performance frameworks, and developing leaders at all levels. Her work focuses on improving how performance conversations happen, ensuring people processes are consistently applied, and supporting the growth and retention of top talent.

Claire Macarthur comments on her new role, saying, ‘What really attracted me to LMS was the strong sense of purpose, the desire to have a people-first culture, and the opportunity to make a real difference in how leadership and performance are approached. From the outside, it was clear this is a business that values both high standards and human connection – and that really resonates with how I like to work. I’ve spent much of my career leading teams through change, supporting leaders, and building cultures where people feel supported to succeed, so this role felt like a perfect fit.’

Claire is passionate about creating inclusive environments where people are supported to thrive. Her approach is hands-on, collaborative, and values-driven, with a strong belief that great leadership is the foundation for great business performance.

‘I’m really excited to get to know everyone and learn more about what’s working well and where there are opportunities to make things even better. I love turning strategy into something tangible and practical, so I’m looking forward to working with managers across LMS to build a strong, supportive leadership culture that drives results and helps people thrive. And I’m especially looking forward to the honest conversations, shared wins, and learning together along the way.’

LMS’s CEO, Nick Chadbourne, comments, ‘We’re very happy to have Claire on board. We’ve been through a lot of changes at LMS, particularly over the last twelve months with the pilot and launch of NPTN, and the team has grown quite significantly – so, we want to ensure that through these transitions and as we grow the business remains people-focused, and that we continue to cultivate an environment that is positive, empowering, and one in which we can all thrive. I very much look forward to seeing how Claire will shape our team and culture.’
