LMS Welcomes Penrith Building Society to Panel Link.

LMS, the UK’s leading provider of conveyancing services, continues to build upon their diverse network of lenders as they proudly announce their partnership with Penrith Building Societyconnecting the lender with their Panel Link service.

Established in 1877, Penrith Building Society has helped generations of savers and borrowers by offering simple and straightforward products. Now, Penrith will be utilising Panel Link for their purchase and remortgage cases, benefitting from a network of trusted law firms.

Panel Link connects lenders with fully vetted law firms, who have met specific security, quality, and compliance criteria, creating a safe and connected ecosystem to facilitate secure and digitised case progression. Penrith Building Society will also benefit from other LMS solutions via Panel Link, such as Secure Link and Charge Registration

Secure Link enables post offer querying between lender and law firm, speeding up critical parts of the conveyancing journey.

Law firms are provided with lender-approved answers to frequently asked questions, helping reduce delays through post-offer queries. In the event that a response does not adequately answer the query, a secure conversation thread can be created between the firm and lender, steering away from traditional, less secure methods of communication.

Penrith Building Society will also be utilising LMS’s Charge Registration monitoring service. With this service, LMS obtains updates directly from HMLR, removing back-and-forth communication with the law firm to streamline a key part of the conveyancing journey.

Overall, LMS’s solutions will support Penrith Building Society in continuing to create an efficient and stress-free journey for their customers.

Suzanne O’Connor, Chief Relationship Officer at LMS, says: ‘As always, we are thrilled to be collaborating with another lender, bringing them on board our Panel Link service so that they can benefit from our extensive experience. Penrith Building Society offers accessible products to their customers, and we are happy to support them in delivering excellent customer choice and reducing risk in an ever-changing market.’

Zack Hocking, CEO at Penrith Building Society, says: ‘Although we’ve evolved over the years, we still keep our members at the heart of everything we do; by partnering with LMS, we can help speed up the conveyancing journey for customers, whether they’re buying or remortgaging. Additionally, by connecting with fully vetted law firms, we can continue to strengthen our reputation as being a Society that people can trust and have confidence in.’
