The early learnings from our industry-first pilot, which launched in September 2024, proved to positively impact the conveyancing journey. What is NPTN by LMS?

By decoupling our well-established transaction network from its core applications, we have made our ecosystem accessible for everyone.

NPTN is a flexible, agnostic, and completely digital ecosystem, which every stakeholder in the conveyancing journey can join, influence, and benefit from.

The more stakeholders that get involved, the more chains that we can positively impact, and, together, we can improve the home-buying and selling journey and shape the future of conveyancing.

The Sandbox

The Sandbox is an invitation to startups, innovators, and established stakeholders in the sector to collaborate, test, and refine new ideas using synthetic data in a controlled environment.

We have created The Sandbox by opening our network and authenticated data, enabling other actors in the industry to learn and benefit.

The Sandbox provides a secure space for risk-free innovation – stakeholders can test and refine cutting-edge solutions with no impact on their current operations.

Upon successful testing within the Sandbox, stakeholders will have the opportunity to quickly integrate their solution into their workflows, accelerating market adoption and enhancement of the overall transaction process.

Access to secure data

NPTN is underpinned by the Open Property Data Association (OPDA) and the Property Data Trust Framework (PDTF), a standardised set of data and governance principles, so that data can be authenticated and reused by stakeholders – and NPTN is a way of managing and distributing that data, acting as a trusted third party.

We know where data comes from at the very start of the home-buying and selling journey, so we can act as an effective and trusted translation layer for all involved parties.

We understand that multiple stakeholders have different needs for data and different ways to authenticate certain information. Therefore, NPTN allows stakeholders to access secure and trusted data without asking them to change how they work.
