Keystone Panel – Updated Mortgage Conditions

We are writing to advise you that Keystone are issuing updated Mortgage Deeds, which must be used for all completions on or after 1st July 2026. These updates are being introduced to align their documentation with legislative changes arising from the Renters Rights Act, together with associated updates to our Mortgage Conditions.

Any mortgage completing on or after 1st July 2026 must be completed using the appropriate updated Keystone Mortgage Deed and will be bound by their update Mortgage Conditions 2026. Previous versions of their Mortgage Deeds must not be used for completions on or after this date.  For completions taking place before 1st July 2026, their current Mortgage Deeds should continue to be used.

Completions before 1st July 2026, the following Mortgage Deeds must be used:

  • Company borrowers:
    Mortgage Deed code KPF2025V1.610.2025
    (Found on the last page of the offer received on instruction)
  • Individual borrowers:
    Mortgage Deed code KPF2020INDV2.026022020
    (Found on the last page of the offer received on instruction)

Completions from 1st July 2026, the following new Mortgage Deeds must be used:

  • Company borrowers:
    Mortgage Deed code KPF2026LTDV2.0 05.2026

Please ensure that your teams are aware of this change and that the correct documentation is applied based on the completion date. It is the responsibility of the panel firms to ensure that the correct Mortgage Deed is used based on the completion date.
