With LMS Charge Registration, we have streamlined a key part of the conveyancing journey.
LMS has integrated with HMLR to obtain case updates directly, eliminating the requirement to chase law firms about each pending charge registration – we have removed a major overhead for our partner firms whilst still keeping our lenders up to date.
How does LMS Charge Registration work?
At the start of the application process, LMS will request that the law firm provide an HM Land Registry reference (ABR), enabling us to obtain updates directly from HMLR.
On behalf of our Panel Link lenders, we can secure accurate and up-to-date information about the registration and the property they have advanced a mortgage against. This solution reduces the number of communications that our law firms receive, making this key part of the journey more streamlined, efficient, and stress-free.
LMS will only need to contact the law firm regarding a register of charge if there’s an issue with a particular application.
